THE KESTREL – CENTER CITY
1231 Wood Street
Our Flagship location, located in the Loft District and 5 minutes away from City Hall, which is the geographical center of Philadelphia at the Broad St. and Market St. intersection. Center City offers all of the city’s best museums, Chinatown and shopping district. A walk eastward will take you to all of the historical sites that millions of visitors come to see each year.
The Loft District is home to the Rail Park, which is Philadelphia’s only elevated park, located on the former train trestles that brought goods into the city. From our roof deck viewing area, the Rail Park can be viewed to the north, the Benjamin Franklin Bridge to the east and breathtaking views of the Philadelphia skyline to the south. The skyline at night is worth the trip to the roof and we recommend that all our guests take advantage.
If South Philadelphia and the Italian Market is on your destination list, the Broad St subway line has a station on the next block. Additionally the subway continues south to the Stadium complex for the sports fans as well as the Philadelphia Navy Yard for great photos.
The Kestrel has apartments for all types. Studio apartments that sleep 2 in a comfy queen sized bed. A one bedroom suite that also sleeps and additional 2 on a living room pull out. Loft apartments that sleep 3, containing a queen sized bed on the loft, and a twin bed on the lower level. Loft apartments that sleep 4 with a queen sided bed on the loft, and a twin trundle that separates into two twin beds.
The Kestrel also offers indoor onsite parking to guests with a confirmed reservation. This makes arrival and departure a snap when you know you have your very own garage space waiting for you.
THE LEOPARD – FISHTOWN
1119 Leopard Street
Amazingly stylish apartments, in a classic Philadelphia neighborhood. We are just seconds away from the bustling Frankford and Girard intersection, and while conveniently located, we are happy to be on a quiet block with great neighbors.
Fishtown is one of the most walked neighborhoods in the city. Frankford Ave offers shops, art, restaurants, bars and creative spaces in a great abundance. Live music venues from Johnny Brenda’s to The Fillmore are all within a 2 minute walk.
Public transportation is plentiful in Fishtown. The EL (elevated train) station, which connects you to the entire city in a matter of moments is just steps away. Venture around Center City, Chinatown, or the beautiful Rittenhouse Square for a lovely city park experience. Hop back on the EL and be home in a few minutes to either cook at home in your own kitchen, or pop out for a culinary experience only found in Fishtown.
